Sponsored by Teance Fine Teas and Fourth Street, this special day includes: martial arts performances, lion dances by the famous Kei Lun performers from San Francisco, traditional treats from merchants, a shop blessing parade and craft tables for the kids.
Rain or shine, this is a family friendly, authentic, celebratory, exciting and funny event. Hope you can come!
SPECIAL NOTE 2018
We give thanks this year to Winnie Yu, co-founder of Teance Fine Teas. She passed away last year but we will always carry her remarkable strength, friendship and leadership in our hearts. In partnership with Fourth Street, Winnie began our beloved festival 10 years ago. We will keep her traditions going strong and dedicate this year's celebration to her.

SHOP ACTIVITIES/SPECIALS
Miki's Paper (1801 Fourth Street) We will be teaching origami dogs for year of the dog! Location will be at the small plaza next to the shop. If rainy, the folding will happen in the store.
Three Twins Ice Cream (1809A Fourth Street) Color Me Contest - we will give kids a special doggy image and crayons to color. Ten winners will be selected and notified by email or phone. Winner's art will be displayed for the month and will get a free tinsy scoop!
Stained Glass Garden (1800 Fourth Street) will be offering a dog community mosaic project for anyone to help with (kids and parents welcome). Finished artwork will be donated to the Berkeley Arts Magnet School. See rooster mosaic pictured below.
Rabat (1825 Fourth Street) Best in Show Dog Contest will be held at Rabat, photos only. Email a picture of your dog to info@rabatshoes.com by Thurs 2/15/18. Photos will be printed and posted for customer voting on Sat 2/17/18. Anyone can vote 1x only please. Votes will be counted and announced that day by 6PM. Winning dog owner will get a certificate for 1 pair of free shoes from Rabat.
OneSky volunteers will be doing a free art project with kids. Table will be near Peet's.
