Dazzling Holiday Lights - On Each Night at Dusk!
The street sparkles with cheer every night beginning at dusk or about 5PM. Holiday lights embroider every tree and glowing balls of light dangle from the branches. Enjoy the three blocks of beauty with friends and family all season long! Lights will come down in January 2022.
Santa Visits & His Mail Box
(12/11, 12/12, 12/18, 12/19 from 12-4pm)
Santa is back on Fourth Street for visits and pictures Sat & Sun 12/11, 12/12 then again Sat & Sun 12/18, 12/19 from 12-4pm. He will be across from Peet’s Coffee in his big red sleigh! Bring your cameras for pictures. Letters to Santa? This year, come to Fourth Street to pop them in his mailbox outside Peet’s Coffee at 1776 Fourth Street. You can’t miss it! Letters with a return address will receive a reply from Santa’s Elves!
Virtual Food Drive $1 = 2 meals
Food insecurity has doubled because of COVID. Help us feed those who need it most by donating online to the Fourth Street Shops Food Drive via the Alameda County Community Food Bank. A Holiday Fantasy Parade - You Drive, We Wave!
Sat 12/4 and Sat 12/11 from 5-7pm
We are happily back in the fantasy parade business! Costumed characters will line the sidewalk and you will drive by waving at your favorite friends : the Grinch, snow queens on stilts, Elsa, Christmas trees on stilts, a gigantic arctic fox provided puppet by Giant Puppets Save the World only to name a few. Under the sparkling holiday lights, we hope to surprise and entertain you! Happy Holidays!!
