Join us for one of our most favorite events of the year...Lunar New Year Festival in celebration of Year of the Rat! Rain or shine, this is a family friendly, authentic, celebratory, exciting and funny event.

12-1pm Martial arts performances by Golden Lion Martial Arts
1:15-2pm Original lion dance performance by the famous Kei Lun performers from San Francisco
2:15-3pm Shop blessing parade
12-3pm Craft table for kids near Peet’s: Chinese character blessing sign and paper firework craft
NEW 12-3pm Kids collect a rat puzzle board at info table and visit 9 shops on a map to collect 1 puzzle piece/shop. Turn in the puzzle at info table for participation gift - while supplies last!

12-3pm Stained Glass Garden (1800 Fourth St.) community mosaic project, final artwork to be donated to a local school for Year of the Rat
12-4pm Chinese Chicken Sandwiches for purchase at Market Hall Foods (1786 Fourth St.)

SPECIAL NOTE
This annual event is dedicated to the life and memory of Winnie Yu, co-founder of Teance Fine Teas. She passed away in 2017 but we will always carry her remarkable strength, friendship and leadership in our hearts. In partnership with Fourth Street, Winnie began our beloved festival 11 years ago. We will keep her traditions going strong.
