Dazzling Holiday Lights ~ On Each Night
On each night starting at dusk, Fourth Street street sparkles with cheer every night at about 5PM. Holiday lights embroider every tree and glowing balls of light dangle from the branches. Enjoy the three blocks of beauty with friends and family all season long! Location: Fourth Street at Hearst.
Note : Lights will come down in January 2023.
Saturdays with Santa (11/26, 12/3, 12/10 from 12-4pm)
Santa is parking his sleigh and visiting with families inside this season at 1778 Fourth Street (next to Peet’s) ! Check out his antique, wooden, red sleigh and chat with Mr. and Mrs. Kringle. Bring your camera for pictures and your letters to drop in the mailbox. If you include a return address you will get a letter back!
Brain Scott Magic Show (11/26 at 2pm and 3pm)
Join the fun and inspiring amazement from Brian, great for all ages! Located across the street from Peet’s. Each show is about 1/2 hr.
Letters to Santa & A REAL Letter Back from the Elves!
Come to Fourth Street and find Santa's Mailbox night or day, outside in front of Peet's Coffee at 1776 Fourth Street. You can’t miss it (see picture below)! Letters with a return address will receive a reply from Santa’s Elves! Yes, kids will get a real letter back in the mail from the Elves!
Donate to B.O.S.S.
Building Opportunities for Self Sufficiency is celebrating 50 years of tackling the causes of poverty, homelessness, incarceration and violence. This year, help us support this local organization by donating new or gently used bedding and towels for their housing programs. Stay tuned for donation barrel locations and online ordering opportunities.
Virtual Food Drive $1 = 2 meals for Alameda County
Food insecurity continues to be such a critical issue for so many families. Help us feed those who need it most by donating online to the Fourth Street Shops Food Drive via the Alameda County Community Food Bank. Fused Ornament Workshop with Stained Glass Garden (SAT 12/3 from 1-4pm)
A crowd favorite, our neighbors at Stained Glass Garden will help you create a fused glass ornament. Create the piece then pick it up a week later after they fuse it in the kilns! All for free! All ages welcome!

A Holiday Fantasy Parade - You Drive, We Wave!
(RAIN OR SHINE….12/10 & 12/17 from 5:30-7:30pm)
Sat 12/10 and Sat 12/17 from 5:30-7:30pm. Join us for another fantastic, fantasy parade! Costumed characters lit by LED’s and often on stilts, will line the sidewalk and you will drive by waving at your favorite friends : the Grinch, snow queens on stilts, Elsa, the famous, giant white arctic fox by Giant Puppets Save the World, Christmas trees on stilts, only to name a few. Under the sparkling holiday lights, we hope to surprise and entertain you. Location: On Fourth Street between Hearst and Virginia Street.
Fratello Marionette Shows (Sun 12/11 at 1pm and 3pm)
Join us for the enchanting Fratello Marionette's - Holiday Shows! Their costumes and artistry are incredible! Each show lasts 30 minutes. Stay turned here for location change in case of rainy weather.”

Caterpillar Puppet Show (Sat 12/17 at 2pm and 3pm)
A crowd favorite for sure, we have invited Joe Leon back to perform two holiday shows with his handmade puppets. Great for all ages, especially young children. Located across the street from Peet’s at 1776 Fourth Street.
